We all know you are biased against the JB4... there are a lot of happy people who run the JB4 without any issues And most issues people have are related to cutting corners like not gapping plugs, poor install and running the wrong map / to high a boost levels for the fuel system on that particualr car to handle... all just basics of tuning really.

JB4's have there place for those who don't want to pry open, drill or ship their ecu's for flashing and want less risk from warrnty issues and want a relatively simple way to put the car back to stock at time of hand back, sale or if warranty require.

Flashing is for all those that don't mind and are not worried if warranties are at risk from opening/tampering. There are some benefits over the JB4 like sitching of the CAT monitoring and cold start cycle.

Each to there own, just stop spouting rubbish

opinionated yes, nut job, maybe.

Jb4 can't compare to the AA. I didn't need to gap plugs, etc for my PLUG AND PLAY PIGGYBACK. Literally plugged it up, and I was off.

Everyone on here who isn't flashed seems to be running jb4, and all I'm saying is, if you dare to go out on a limb and try the AA, you won't regret it.

typically a 16 comp car w

jb4/bcm
msr intakes
msr vatless dwnpipe
gap @.22

whattya guys guess she should put down ? i'd be happy w 625 at wheel , seeing as a stock comp car would be @ 525 should be safe to assume about 100rwhp w these modd's ??

anything owver that # would just be xtra gravvy for me , trying to be conservative wanna good reliable strong beast and not have to deal w the other issues such as clutch when you cross that threshhold

Pull the JB out and see if it still stalls. That doesn't sound like a JB issue.

I had some issues like bouncing idle when I installed the BCM. I didn't do it wrong.. any idiot can do it. Its simple.
It didn't add any power at all. Seemed to run worse when I added the BCM.
Tune 1 and e85 runs strong(before installing bcm)... BCM installed with any number tune and it idles like shit and drives crappy too.
I couldn't figure out why. I tried data logging but that shit was just stupid.

Got a $500 ticket and a court date trying to fucking data log and it didn't even work.

I took the BCM out and the crappiness went away.

Is it the plugs? They were replaced like 20k miles ago(with the blown motor ($45k BMW job LOLOL))... runs fine though without bcm....
I didn't have all the issue he was having but performance def was horrid with the bcm in.
