Sorry that's misleading i meant the scoops are 85% exposed to the air rushing straight in due to their position, but the thing I like is they look factory too once plastic dipped in Matt black

They catch 85% of the air rushing straight in through the kidney grills, and noticed an improvement straight away
I may have to take you up on that. I can't find that 90-degree elbow duct in the U.S.. In the U.S, the duct works are round. I guess in the UK, it's rectangular. I'll look at a few more stores.

Do you have PayPal? I may have to PayPal you money to send me a set.

My mechanic fitted these, its literally just bumper off (for easier access) unclip the 1" flange that sits just inside the main mouth of each air entry - and the ram scoops then just slot straight in, once slotted in you just use 2 self tapping screws top and bottom to hold in place.. Done

There such a good fit you'd think they were made specifically to do this job !!

You'd need to dress them up a bit, add in some M tax, and claim some HP gains to make them attractive (aka charge $900)

Oh, and be prepared to respond to the nay-sayers; the ones saying you'll be sucking in small rocks and bees.

Unless you send them to RW Carbon, they can replicate them in CF and sell them for about $100.

You actually could. Plastidip them, include 2 self taping screws in the kit, and sell them on eBay for $45 shipped. If you search for BMW F10 M5 air scoops on eBay, you only get Afe and RPI which are both $250 USD.

TheHouseWon and I would buy it.

ha ha - yes sounds like a plan, well i dont have the time to retail them. Ive manufactured lots of parts of the years for cars and retailed on eBay and sold to trade but just dont have the time anymore, and no longer in the car trade - its just a hobby.

If you guys send me a few bucks ill buy some of these for you as the store is at the end of my street, and ill post them through with the special paint so you can have some fun. If you need loads more you know where i am.

Hoping that's earnt my place in heaven now

For 45 bucks might as well. I don't need an intake but what the hell, I'm in.

You bought a Huracan?! No wonder you don't need an intake for the M5.
