It works .. Myself and several others locally have used it to get us over 100 octane. Noticeable difference. It's been used with tuners for as long as I can remember as a supplement when you cannot get race gas. I personally do not recommend running it full time, I know guys who have without issues however I do know that this stuff and any other similar product will coat your sensors, injectors, and spark plus with this orange/red powder. I've never heard of it causing issues, however, just be aware of it. I've ran about 5 gallons of this stuff in my M5 without any issues. Did find my plugs had a red tint on them when I got them swapped.

I use it in my M5 because I'm running a slightly more aggressive tune which is more suited for 93 octane. The joys of 91 octane water in CA...

Hi Mike,

Just curious, how long have you been using? Is it frequent, and any issues? I know they coat stuff but never heard of any issues. Seems to be a great product and definitely makes a difference.

Mike,

Why don't you use water/meth injection to give you the knock protection?

I stopped using it and have since transition to 4 gallons of e85 with every full tank. What a beast it becomes

So far for the last 5 fill ups. Started at 3 gallons and worked my way up to 4. You may feel hesitation at first but after shutting down for he night and starting back up it was night and day.

I don't know what the long term affects are but ton of guys here doing it

I worried e85 might damage the fuel pump long run. Hope this isn't the case. I get confused as I thought the mix was meant to be 0,5 gal per 5 gals 93? 22 gal tank would equal 2 gals?
m6beast your opinion on running 4 gal per tank e85?

In van alstyne 100oct $6.99/gal..btw..

It's great isn't it?!

Now we need a wrenching party in Pearland to help a gimp get his ECU's off so he can send them out for a proper tune.

Thanks for that. I have been searching for one.

Looks like I'm at 95 octane on a full tank.

Maybe allmotor_2000 knows whats the most % the S63Tu stock fuel pump can handle of E85

For most car E30% is the recommended or max, but some cars have E40 tolerance on stock fuel pump. Start low with progress, adding more 93 will balance out the E85 %

Even at 4 gallons on a full tank, that is only approx 18.5% E85. If 25-30% is the max safe recommended % of E85, looks plenty safe.
In order to be positive though, you need log A/F ratio and fuel pump parameters.

I'm on 3.5 gallons of e85, but haven't had a chance to log on JB4. Too much traffic!
