will cel limit power?

If i get catless dp's and not turn off the cel will that limit the power or will the cel just be on and not effect the performance at all.

CEL will stay on. Power is not affected

The not so good part about leaving it is that if you have another fault that doesn't cause limp mode, you won't know about it.

I could be wrong, but isn't the O2 sensor responsible of make the car leaner or richer? At least on my previous cars, every time the primary O2 sensor went bad, the car would waste a lot of gas because it was running rich. Running rich affects the performance of the car.

Please someone confirm.

EDIT: I was wrong, because after the cat that's the secondary O2 sensor.

Correct... secondary lamda probe is there just to check the function of the cat for the OBDII protocals and has no input on the AFM etc that is the domain of the primary/first lamda probe.

Cel can cause limp mode
Annoyance
And throw of different power to limit or compensate for cel light being on.

I know when i had mine on it had power but once off. Runs much better

You need can tool if u running catless
