Just found my Beast's new stable mate

A family member secured one of the first pre-production C7 Z-51's. You should hear this thing. Acceleration is staggering. GM finally got it right. Can't wait, especially at this price point.

That is an awesome looking Vette. This is my 427 60th Anniversary Collectors Edition I picked up a couple months ago. There were only 50 made from the factory due to a production issue with the ZR1 rims.

How'd he manage to snag a pre-production car?

I was never a Vette fan because they are so common and 90% who drive them are 65 and up and drive them like they are 80 and up. BUT...This thing is BAD ASS. Well played GM, Well played.

That's because she's about to make that Vette her b*tch!-kidding-lol!

Awesome Vette! What they have done with the interior is a huge leap from prior models.

Unfortunately, the switchgear doesn't have the quality feel, but the seats are amazing. If I could only get my M5 to sound half as good as this exhaust. And the tone is adjustable! Again, for 60k it's awesome. Chassis is very rigid, brakes outstanding. I cannot imagine what the ZO6 will be like, let alone the ZR-1.

Beautiful! Very sporty looking. I bet it doe sound insane! Agreed on the amount of car you get for the money. Tough to beat. Really only this and a Viper are in that category. Built for performance rather than luxury but you get a bit of luxury from the Vette too!

Congrats again.

Point of clarification. It's his car, not mine. Yet...

Nice car

I had a Corvette in college 35 years ago and loved it. However, it's too low and being 6'4", I always hated that about the car back then. Girls did like to ride in it, for sure.

Today they have a different cachet. I think I read somewhere on the internet that it's sort of the successful plumber's car. Nevertheless, I have always had a spot in my heart for the Corvette.
