My 2015 deal
MSRP $127,150
Sell $114,555 Monthly lease payment 1482.09 (includes 9% tax) Money Factor .00190 10K miles a year 62% residual 0 msd's down Is this a good deal? I could put down the 7 MSD and bring it down to $1378.81 but I am comfortable with the 0 down. |

Without crunching the numbers, that appears to be a pretty solid deal.
Regarding the MSDs, for a 36 month lease, you're talking ~$3600 in your pocket for letting BMW hold ~$10,000 over the period of the lease. Just something to think about.

Everything looks good except Money Factor!
The current APR offered by BMW is 3.13% which reflects MF of 0.00130. The MF 0.0019 has been offered to you means 4.56% APR !!!! Just keep in mind the difference between MF 0.0013 and 0.0019 for this deal is about $126 per month including tax!!

Are you doing ED? You could squeeze more discount off the price otherwise pricing seems decent for non-ED car. |

Wouldn't that be a 36% ROI? Definitely worth it! Where else can you be 100% assured of that type of return? Tell me if you know, I'd love to jump on it

Crunching your numbers a bit and something seems off. For those 1482.09 payments (at 9% tax, .0019 MF/no msd, 62% res, 36 mo) the net cap cost (final price of the car) would have to be $98,762, which means you would need to put 16,618 down (down payment, not msd). You'll want to make sure they're not expecting a down payment for that deal.

MSRP $117K Sell $108K Monthly lease payment 1317.00(includes 9% tax) Money Factor .00130 10K miles a year 62% residual 0 msd's down I am going to go with that. I was going to do the Carbon Fiber trim but it is $3025 from factory and $2k from the dealer afterwards. So I will order it afterwards but I could not say no to those payments and I will be putting MSD down to get a lower price!!! |

If you are the kind of person who may get bored or change your mind, etc... You should def not lease. To me it's a lot of work and time and possibly needlessly wasted $$$ to get out of a lease contract early. Just my opinion. BUT.... Of you do lease and can commit... MSD's are a GREAT return on your money and if you have it, it's a great way to have your money work for you.

How do multiple security deposits work?
Is that something the dealer throws as a suggestion to you to bring the price down or are you getting a price and then offering to put MSD? |

Each MSD (Multiple Security Deposit) reduces the Money Factor by 0.00007 and for total of 7MSD you can put(to reduce Money Factor by 0.00049) as security deposit and will be returned to you at the end of lease. The amount of each security deposit is the rounded monthly payment to next $50. For example if your monthly payment is $1170, then each security deposit is $1200, and if your monthly payment is $1130, then your security deposit is $1150! Having said that, based on the number of security deposits you would like to put, they reduce the money factor from the original MF and then calculate your monthly payment.
