Unless the speed limit in Knightsbridge is 60-80mph then flat lining second to third would be a little over 30mph limit. I stand by the others comments what a tool to drive like that in London, deserves all the points and bans he has coming his way.

this link demonstrates the point well enough. Nice car driven by tool, way to fast to react to the Mazda.

And it's not like the politicians and DOT etc don't have internet and Youtube access... Videos of driving like is shown here is a sure way to get more policing, more restrictions on cars etc. These videos are really helpful for lawmakers in imposing more strict regulations on everything from noise to ITS systems in vehicles that limit speed.

Once this kind of behaviour gets out of control, neighbours complain about noise and dangerous driving, responsible authorities have to show that they take action against anti social behaviour. If only these people could limit their street racing and speeding to track days and not city centres, we would all be better off...

My Nephew was 20 years old and was out for the night in London with his mates, it was about 9 pm and he stepped out between two cars in the west end, the car that killed him was doing about 70 MPH (make withheld) in a 30 Zone.
The car failed to stop and was chased and stopped further down the road.
It turns out the driver was an off duty policeman Pissed.

End of sad story.
Thats why speeding in those areas to me is F**king madness.
Not a good story and all the more reason to take driving seriously. Sorry for your loss. This is the most meaningful post in the thread. It's one thing to let it rip on a wide open road, that's fine. Hot rodding on busy city streets is inexcusable and can have terrible repercussions that affect many innocent lives for years to come...all in the blink of an eye.

BTW JOHNBMWM5, when you say the off-duty policemen was "pissed" you mean he had been drinking, right? Here in the States "pissed" means angry. I was at a wine festival in Greece many years ago with an English lady and she remarked that everyone there was pissed. I was puzzled and told her that everybody looked extremely happy to me - that's when I learned the UK meaning.

Man, that sound!!! I know I played the video with headphones on.

But London strikes me as an odd place for all this posturing really...
Someone take those guys to Eastern Europe or some desolate highway on the way down to the Costa del Sol.

This is true. I haven't either. It's an RPI thang!

Going up thru the gears medium to high mashing- 1-5 bangs/cracks. Sounds awesome especially going thru a tunnel. Downshifting or engine breaking--race car like downshifts. This makes the stock or comp exhaust sound like a baby's fart. It's like did I shift gears? I guess i did. Lifting off throttle you just hear what the engine accomplished x5 ali g w turbo wind down. With our system you know exactly what's going on. All the while still extremely composed inside the car.

What's rpi exhaust quality like?

Are there loud cracks with the RPI gtm? I love exhaust cracks. There's a meisterschaft exhaust video on youtube with really loads cracks - but I think it's because the video was taken indoors- sound bounces off walls.
