Ran mine for 19k HARD miles [see my thread on cracking rotors from stopping from 155 so much] had one drivetrain malfunction light (cause unknown) around 3k miles, and then ran at 6lbs of boost on 93 [not supposed to because of fuel limits] and had drivetrain malfunction at max speed 155+ due to fueling...

Car ran like a champ the entire time and would install again.

Does the kit come with the plug, so that I could quickly and easily disable the tune before visiting friendly BMW dealer near me for service?

This is my 3rd car to run BMS on and I've been happy with all three, especially considering the price point. On the M5 I have it set on +4.0 running 101 octane (actually a mixture that is probably more like 98 octane) and it feels like a beast.

How difficult is the install and how long does it take from start to finish? do I need to disconnect the battery before install?

Easy. Take off air filters and housing to get to the plugs. Connect up tbe harness. Route the other harness to the other side and repeat. Hide the box up front
