I don't know guys. When I see things like the things below, it really inspires me to keep my M5 for as long as I can. 200,000 miles? 400,000 miles?? Who knows. Truth be told, the ONLY reason why I got rid of my E60 M5 was because it had extremely poor reliability. Almost 20,000 miles and I'm enjoying every minute of my 2013 F10 M5. A large part of me really hopes to be like the guys below.

I'll keep it 4-5 years easy.

Even then I won't get rid of it unless A) there is a reliability issue that is directly impacting me (said another way, I need to be the one having the problem) or B) there is something so compelling that I have to have it (which is really rare).

Unfortunately here in the UK we only get 3 years warrantee and the service pack (which we pay for) is 5 years or 50K miles. which ever sooner

That does not spell reliability to me.
So cars like these with all their technology will not be kept past 3 years.
If they are you have to buy extended warrantee which is more money.

PS) my wifes KIA Rio has a 7 year warrantee!!!!

Na we use that for short trips, she does the gym and back which is 7 miles total, I would not start the M5 for that, I do minimum 15 miles each way in the M5.
