There's no way. I just saw a 2014 M5 Fully Loaded including Comp Package and Carbon Brakes for only $71k. You're probably closer to $65k.

I would say 65-70. Also, to my understanding CPO does not transfer from owner to owner. CPO cars can only be purchased from the dealership that certified the car.

Regardless, very nice car and good luck with selling it.

Great spec! Mine is pretty much same car but had 27k, remainder of factory warranty until 50k or September 2018 and extended warranty 3 year 36k (not CPO and is transferable) for 69 back in Jan. I probably paid a little too much for it but the car was immaculate, one owner and just wanted it. Good luck with the sale.

65-68k. The amount of inventory now is crazy. If you drop the price let me know. I'm in the market for a white one.

CPO can be done owner to owner, I think there is a transfer fee.
CPO can NOT be transferred thru a NON BMW dealer, once a 3rd party dealer gets involved it goes away.

This is prolly very close! And this may be 'retail',....selling it yourself.

So a dealer,...or stealer will muscle you down!

Thanks for the input guys. The CPO is transferrable and the extended maintenance is refundable. Probably will hold on to it for bit longer and will post it on the forum when ready.

Are you sure about the maintenance being refundable? I thought that was only if the car got totalled.

CPO isn't worth as much as people think it is when trying to sell. Sure it's a great selling point and makes selling the car a whole lot easier, but for monetary value, depending on how much of the extended warranty is left it's not going to be worth what you paid for it. Even if the car isn't into it's CPO covered time or mileage yet, I would say it's only worth about 60% of what we pay for it. I paid $6k for my BMW Extended Warranty, and I'd say at this point it's probably only worth about $1,500-$2k based on what I have remaining. Luckily for me, it's already paid for itself though.

I think it may be with the CPO warranty and the maintenance for a clean carfax car. I got 74 for mine - non CPO, carfax minor rear end impact, similar MSRP but lower miles (14k) and the maintenance.

Ignore the guys who respond to the threads. A lot of people would buy the cheapest thing on the bloc even if it was a hertz rental car. The right approach to pricing is pretend you are a buyer, go online, find a car you think is similar, and try negotiating a deal on it. Optional extras, vehicle condition and warranty command a premium, regardless of what people on M5 post think.

When I was selling my car several people offered 70 and made the arguments described by posters above, but at the end of the day when the buyer who wanted a Frozen Grey, Piano Black, Full Silverstone, fully loaded M5 came along, he knew he wasn't going to find another one so he paid up.

Mine is a '14 with identical options except my leather is extended not full. I purchased the car with 17,000 miles on it for $71,000 two weeks ago from a BMW dealer. The car is certified.

I honestly think you got lucky. It happens to me a lot too. I think I sold my last three cars via craigslist for 4-5k more than I should have got for them. It happens.

But I have been looking at M5's a lot and I am seeing the low 70's and high 60's being the norm for 14" CPO CP.

Unless something has changed, the extended maintenance package is refundable if cancelled. I did this when I sold my M3 a few years back.

Remember, this is the extended package, not the standard maintenance package that he is talking about.

Good to know, thank you!

Edit** I just read the cancellation/refund clause and refunds will only be given if the plan was bought in certain states that allow refunds, otherwise it's only refundable if the car is written off.

So. The real value of this car retail is 71k with CPO and probably private sale is in the mid 60's?

They listed the car at $73,995. $71k was my negotiated price.

Hit BMWUSA.com and do a CPO search across the country. The range is large, but you won't (as of this date of this post) find anything like your car.

You have low miles and a great color combo.
