How old are you m5 owners?

I? started the thread and am happy to see the wide range of ages

I? just gotta say I've had many fast and nice cars but the f10 m5 the first car where I? actually feel contempt with the car. Usually in my old cars I would be thinking about the next upgrade within a few weeks but not in this car.

Had it almost 3 months now almost 8k miles in just 3 months..... a true pleasure.

I'm with you about having money work for you. I got into real estate and now money is like a game. The more money you have, the higher the score.

It's hard to be patient and I can go pick up a CPO M5 right now, but like you said, real estate is just too juicy. I can wait until the F90 drops as I planned my budget for it already.

As far as the getting along part... There's a ton of jackasses on here, depending on which perspective you're looking at. You levering up via real estate or throw you money into the markets?

real estate is tough to get into in my city now (toronto). prices rallied massively over the past few years due to low supply and high foreign investment. the average detached home in toronto now goes for $1M+. condos are just over half that on average so your average real estate investor has a tough time getting more than one investment property these days. that said, anyone who invested in real estate 5-10 years ago is laughing all the way to the bank. we've seen YoY returns of over 50% in some boroughs during that period.

Awesome to see! I loved mine and put something like 45k miles on it in 18 months. Tempted to pick up a M6 GC to hold me over until the 2018 drops. You considering an upgrade to the F90?

It's terrible everywhere. Here in Nebraska home prices are up 30% in the past 2 years. We experienced about 10% growth from 2000 to 2006/7 right up to the recession, so massive bubble here as well.

If you want juicy returns but can't afford to buy up there, look in the midwest. Tons of properties in the sub $200k range with 10% cap rate! Low taxes is another kicker! You can net 7% easily.
