A/C Condenser Failed

2013 failed.

Got the hissing noise and eventually blows hot air.

Anyone know rough costs for this to be fixed?

Condesor is relatively cheap. $150
Installation.......pain in the Butt!! Probably $400-500 at the dealer. Then leakcheck and charge $150...
The Condensors on these cars really take a beating. They are at the very front

Mine just failed too I assume. I'm also getting the hissing sound and I no longer get ice cold A/C.

Ya this ended up being about $900 done in Canada. I think they gave me 20% off for not having the part in stock and holding my car a few extra days. Do these just fail at certain intervals, or do they have updated parts?

Had the same issue a few months ago. BMW covered it. I heard it was common with the 2013 models.

Poor location on BMW’s part smh. Mine went out at 40k miles. Covered under the CPO program thank goodness.

Just had mine done. Failed at 52,500 miles. Had to go back after they failed to find the leak the first time last week, eventhough I told the tech that since I work in the HVAC field I know how an AC system acts when it has a leak. Lucky for me CPO covered the cost.
