New Delivery
Hey guys, I wanted to share some exciting news and let you all know that I will be receiving a new delivery. It's due end of January, 2016. I am already preparing and doing the shopping as you can see from the picture.
I wanted to ask you for advice on the baby seats and your experience with them as well as protecting the seats. Thank you all and I knew this was important to me as I treat this board as a second family.

The Recaro ones are when they get older. I guess I need to figure out options for when the baby is born. Front facing or rear facing, etc.

Recarro doesn't get very good ratings. We bought Chico fit 30 when my daughter was under one. She out grew that and now uses a Chico next fit, pretty much top rated. Your not supposed to face them forward until 2 years now.

My son is a Junior at Boston College and it seems like it was just yesterday that he was born.

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention it's a girl. She is gonna be one quick M driver. I need to research on strollers, car seats and bases. I was hoping you guys would be the best resource.

Congrats! My wife and I had our first son in January, and I got the M5 in March...we have the Uppababy Mesa, it's awesome and fits a lot of stroller options (Uppababy and other brands). I'm 6'3" and the baby seat is behind me, fits with no problem.
Highly recommend the seat. |

Congrats. I have had baby seats in my M cars - all I have ever done is put a large towel folded in half between the baby seat and the car seat and it works really well to protect the car. Never had any issues at all.
Perhaps she will be the next Sabine ? |

That's the solution I was looking for rather than spending a grip on seat protectors. I hope she is the next Sabine, but at the end of the day I hope she chooses what makes her happy. If I can learn anything from my relationship with my folks I would definitely not want my kid to fulfill my own dreams.

We got the graco infant child seat. It was great! You leave the child in the carrier while transporting them in and out of the car. It was the great for 1.5 year and then they outgrew it. It can also be attached to a snap and go stroller so you don't need to get them off the carrier and onto a stroller. This helps a lot esp when he/she is asleep

Guys, I knew posting this here was the best thing to do. The amount of information I gathered is a lot more than from my multiple visits to baby stores. Thank you for being an informal family.
