I did the Turner muffler delete, and it is awesome! Probably took me a few days to get used to it since it is a lot louder and deeper, and even thought about removing it on day 1 and 2, but now it is just pure awesome. Reminds me of old V8 musclecars I've had in the past.

I remember reading early on that the CP exhaust removed the resonators for increased sound. I will look for the article

Correct, no holes. I took a picture and will post when I am back in town.

because this could mean that actually deleting Resonators doesn't just NOT hurt the car and back pressure but also can be considered an UPGRADE !

Purchased the Competition Package mufflers from a very nice Forum Member ghat I believe is an asset to this community -

And waiting on shipping!

To be installed to my car for about 200$ at BMW Dealership -

They refused to delete resonators though?

You think they may use installing them against me upon return if I keep the car till then which never happened before -
I leased probably 5 cars before it and all traded in

Well
Bravo forum members -

I did it and I call it peer pressure
haha hahaha
I personally can hardly hear or tell the difference and I have 2 possible explanations for this
1. There's no difference
2. Subtle and takes a more exhaust sensitive trained ears
3. I need to go to ENT to have ears checked (Spinny02's recommendation is audiogram)

Was for 100$ and stainless steel pipes
Still waiting on my CP mufflers and hope this augments the sound a bit more - and I found I care about low RPM more than way up revving high as less trouble and still fun.

Enjoy the step by step - pix of baby resonators being delivered out of the M5's woomb
hahahahah

PS
Did I hear someone here say that CP resonators come stock without these holes in picture?
Does this mean with CP mufflers and removed resonators I will have 100% CP sound?
Also would someone kindly explain to the simple minded Job (Meee) how these holes will decrease sound vs straight piping them? PLEASE?

So you are the one who spread this around and yet no proof?

Hey,
Anybody here with CP removed resonators and can speak to this matter whether they are like non CP resonators with holes or really stock deleted?

I've been generally satisfied with my CP exhaust, but would certainly welcome something louder. It's more aggressive than some give it credit, once you listen to it from an onlooker's perspective. You might check how difficult it is to simply open your existing muffler and remove the baffling. Probably not simple, but I have no idea. Definitely not a $1000 job, however. In the end, I think you will be much happier getting a real exhaust that can easily be returned to stock form at the end of your lease.
Did you remove you resonators?

3. Keep My Exhauste Meister

And this way is the closest thing to stock I could possibly be without getting in trouble at th end of lease - because CP Exhauste is probably a welcome change by BMW!

Glad to see your migraine resolving - LOL
Sooma I think I'm going to do the same. I had also followed the prior threads on resonator delete and was worried about power loss but seems not to be an issue. I have the CP exhaust and am considering ordering exhaustmeister.

Not sure but keep in mind in these videos the flap for the exhaust may be closed so with it open sound might be even better.

Other option would be downpipes which would provide the sound we desire but also significant power. But my car is also leased and this would add more cost (I would only consider catted DP)

I just did too and I believe it is only higher in higher RPM like above 4k but lower than this hardly any difference ! And I will report back after I get the CP mufflers on the car

Here are pics of the inside of the CP resonator. I also found it interesting that the X-Pipe contained a sheetmetal plate with only a small hole allowing crossover.
