F10 M5 vs 2020 M550 ?
Hi all,
So yesterday I was just cruising around in Sport + and did a quick pull under a bridge. Seconds later, a F10 M5 flies by and has clearly had work done to it. His exhaust is much louder, significantly louder pops and bangs and I can hear the turbos spinning up too. I've heard that a 2020 and up stock M550 would beat a F10 in straight line, but how about one with mods ? .....just curious. I know it depends on how many mods etc. Mark |

Nice, thank you for that info. I was wondering what the official 1/4 times were. I must say that the first time i put my right foot down on this thing it REALLY surprised me. I've never felt that sort of acceleration before. It actually feels like you're being pulled. Kind of like an amusement park ride or something. LoL. What i do love about the 550 is it looks no different from most 5 series. If you remove the "M" off the rear end, its truly a stealth car. The 2020's and above all have that big power boost too. -Mark |

Definitely. AWD is king on the street from a standing start. The F10 M5 is far from good when it comes to getting its power down off the line.
