I just put 1400KMS on my car Weds/Thursday and the more I drive it the more I love this car! Just wish it wasn't such an expensive car!!

So much passing power/acceleration yet so smooth and comfortable!!

- Wider Wheels and Tires (Better for traction)
- Rear suspension directly bolted to the unibody
- Active Differential (Manages traction exponentially better)
- More advanced suspension geometry design
The Pilot Super Sports definitely make a big difference, I had them on my 135i while my brother had PS2s on his E90 M3 and we could both tell that the Super Sports are miles ahead, but I think the most important difference will be the direct coupling of the rear suspension and subframe. The stiffer bushings at this location on previous M cars (compared to the standard models) was probably the greatest contributor to their increased agility and stability and removing the rubber altogether will take this even further.

I loved the E60 but I have no doubts about the F10 being a much better car in every way.

Thanks for the great reveiw.

IMO, until you have seen a Frozen car upclose and in the sun you can't really judge the color, so nice to hear you grew to like it.

Thank you for the great review. The production of my 2013 M5 ended last week and has been released to the carrier and waiting on shipping departure. I chose the Individual Moonstone metallic and was too unsure of the matte finishes after seeing it on the M5 at the LA autoshow and on the 6 Series GC at the Concours d'elegance at Amelia Island and NY autoshow. Thanks again for a great review and you have made my excitement grow 100%!!!! Can't wait!!!!

I hope you receive your car soon. Please take quality photos...I'm really interested to see Moonstone on an M5.

only a few paragraphs in and i hate to say it, but i'm not really a fan of the article; the wording and phrasing comes off as borderline pretentious. it could just be the long afternoon and heat *shrug*. i'll probably get around to finishing the rest of it at some point later on. i do love reading about the F10 M5

I don't read anything pretentious at all in the review. And apparently most here agree it was a good review. Thanks to the staff here.

Will you describe, or send me the link, describing what happens to the M3 in this situation?

"It routes torque and power to a wheel when more traction is needed, but keeps itself unnoticed when not. If you have ever made an evasive maneuver in an M3 at high speeds, you would be able to tell the difference."

I assume at high speeds, the M3 loses traction during evasive maneuvering due to too much power being applied, leading to unanticipated wheel spin (oversteer). Is that correct?

Nothing pretentious about the review. As a daily driver of both the E92 M3 and F10 M5, i can attest to what is being written!

Thanks for the great review and excellent pictures. This is my kind of car (along with the M6). Luxury, sporty and comfort all in one. To all the people that is whining about new M cars lost their soul I somewhat agree but to a certain extent I think M is now building cars for mass appeal instead of just a handful of hardcore enthusiast. If buying a car like this I don't want it to be loud, stiff and not comfortable. M cars has evolved, they are still the M that we all know but slightly refined.
