Very true as Ive had sakhir on my M5 and have it on my M6... great color.

My R8 truly has a red interior; almost a deep blood red which is good too.

Vic, plans on 991TT? i had 997tt (3 of them) and 996TT (4 of them) my fav car...Problem is they used to be the best supercar you could drive everyday. Still is imo, but that price keeps creeping up and up...LOL

Actually as LSM said above SO looks different in real life - it almost looks metallic at times. I've Imola red nappa in the past and that more of a solid look to it.

Funny you ask. I have had three turbos (996, and two 997's inlcuding the brutal PDK) and I am considering the 991 as I type. You are so correct about the daily driver aspects of that car coupled with shocking performance and very very limited maintenance. On my 2007 997TT I actually drove the car 20k miles and changed the oil 4 times and that was it, nothing else. The price of admission for the S is rather steep at 190k but I think its the evolution of the car. I think my 2003 996TT was circa 120k with a factory aero kit and my 997.1TT was 140k and my 997.2TT was 150k. So a non S is in that range and properly optioned at 160-165k.

Oh sir without a doubt I am... I know that the traditional black is better for wholesaling and potential trade in cash value but the red just pops. It makes a race car racier in my R8 and I think BMW has done it just right with the Sakhir.
