where exactly is this pic? (rear/front, top bottom?) I have nothing in any wheel well that looks like that that I can see with the wheels on. that does look like a shipping block but for some reason I thought they were blue or white...

It's in the back, but the yellow thingie is at the bottom of all 4 springs! Could you please post a pic of your rear bottom spring?

not sure how you got that pic without removing a wheel or being on a lift, but yes there is a yellow rubber looking gasket of some sort at the bottom of my springs too

Here are what the BMW shipping blocks look like. They are installed at the factory during production, and removed by your dealer during the PDI process.
