+1. Thats what i'm driving in the snow or rain. M sport xdrive35d. M5 needs warm and dry roads to be any sort of fun around here. Thats why i've had mine 2 years and still only 3800 miles on it.

Traction control cuts power too often once slipping even though the LSD will send it to the one with grip. Problem is most of the time in snow you start slipping going up incline means you've lost grip on both sides. That's why it's better to take traction off and power through in those situations. However watch the rear end, esp with the torque on those M5s.
OP, get a set of Nokians if you are going to drive it all winter. Especially since you are in Kingston. The 2nd option is to get a set of Blizzaks.

Hi Everyone
I'd love one of those big F150 things! No possible justification here in NZ but if I lived in the USA - I'd compliment my M5 with an old 4x4 double cab ute in a heartbeat! (or an X5 in reality just buy an old mid 2000's one!!!!) Cheers stu
