2014 M5 Auction price
I am thinking of trading in my 2014 M5 Silverstone for X5 (growing family). Can anyone give me auction prices for M5 these days? It has everything but competition and night vision and has 8300 miles on it. Just trying to see if trading in will be ok or if i should post it on swaplease. Thanks in advance.

Sadly auction will be below 70K and I'm guestimating 67-68K at best! Why would you do that man?! Don't do it?! I have 3 children and we have Audi Q7 Cheaper to buy a used Q7 than lose all that money !!! I have been shopping for several months |

http://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/de...09/overview/#3 2013 with 37k barely worth 50k :/ imagine what the prices will look like in 12-24 months as more of those 2013's come off lease with 20-50k miles on them. Not to mention a new model year... It'll absolutely gut the value of the 14-15 where you're stuck in the middle. These cars have a steep tumble into the 45-55k where they'll likely hopefully be able to hold for a few years. But anything above that expect drastic drops. |

Disgusting resale values on M5
I have a 2014 with ZCP, 5,000 miles and all options except night vision and rear entertainment. Went to three BMW dealers for trade-in on a 2016 M5. Offers for my car were $67k, $62k and $68k.
Funny (actually sad) thing is that the lowest offer of the three came from the dealer that I had originally bought my car new from less than two years ago. |

Carmax always beats the dealer, but selling on this board will always beat Carmax.

Op here are all the current auction listing for all 14 M5's.
MMR is the average for what similarly equipped models with similar mileage have sold for recently and that's usually what that particular car will sell for at auction. |

Yup. I test drove X5 and as soon as I talked to them about my car price, I walked out. I expected worse, but 70k was what I own with my deposit. So they told me basically they will take my car without me paying extra.

I'm glad I got almost 80k for mine after 8 months and 20k miles... Better than holding it for 16 months and having 8500 on it lol

Traded in my '13 with 16k miles, only option I had was Executive. Got $64,200 WITH tax benefit, these definitely don't hold value.
