iPhone 6 snap-in adapter is out

On eBay from overseas vendors (Germany). Not available in US, however the German vendors do ship to the US and prices are not bad. Will be lower obviously after US release.

I am skipping it this time round. I made my own one last November and I don't think this does anything my own one doesn't.

Good to hear, but I have the 6+ and suppose I'll need a new glove box for it to fit.

Yes no snap in for you. But new 7 series will offer M5 like performance with inductive charging and apps via Bluetooth. No cradle needed.

That looks pretty good actually. Because it's an adjustable adapter it should be able to accommodate more than one phone model including future models. Worth trying I think.

I posted the 2 available type on the X5 forum a while ago

There is a Iphone6 version snap in adapter that is just for the Iphone6 without a cover.

If you have a cover you dont want to remove each time or have a Iphone 6+ you get a Universal Snap in Adapter with apple lightning connector

Dont know about the WELT, we cannot get cars delivered there.

I bought it at the welt. Ask the guy in the gift shop and he will get it. It was expensive!

Just put the parts number into eBay. If there is a US vendor it will come up. If not then a European vendor that ships to the U.S. will also come up. Make sure you check that your search includes international sellers.

Many US and European BMW dealers are on eBay.

Got it from Germany. Just like the previous one for the iPhone 5, it provides little or no cooling. Amazing how hot it can get.
