Cant do high speed runs without "drive moderately" error

Got this error today when I tried to do a couple of full throttle runs, after 210 it would go in to a lower power mode and it would start to shake and drive at low power . Pulled over Turned the car off for around 3 min turned it back on and gone no error and drove home fine. It seems it happens only at high speeds and when full throttle and just flying through gears it would cut me off. Also never got a engine light. My car has catless Downpipes , muffler deletes and ESS full tune which was optimized for catless Downpipes and CEL. What can this be? Misfire? Fuel pump? I'm going to scan the car tomorrow and see what's going on. What's the point of all this power if the car can't handle it

I have got the same message. It was the fuel. I mixed different fuel qualities when driving in different countries

High probability its caused by one or more of your modifications. No point taking it to BMW as all they'll do it put it back to standard and charge you for it.

With these tunes, your car can become very sensitive to fuel type, when the engine mapping doesn't have the bandwidth to adjust for different types of fuel. You probably should contact ESS and let them look over the error codes generated....see what they think

Mike,

Not the post I wanted to see since I'm considering ESS tune plus downpipes. I hope you get it all squared away.

Update:

Scanned the car today and it looks like there's 2 misfires , cylinder 5 and 8. Getting new plugs and will update.
