Kidney grilles with dark chrome surround

So how does one get the kidneys with the dark chrome frame, like in this video:

Aren't the standard kidneys black slats with chrome surround? I know you get the dark chrome exhaust tips with the Competition Package, do the kidneys change with CP too? How can I get these, any part numbers? Is there a possibility to swap in the chrome accents in the door handles and the side vents to match this dark chrome, with original parts? I know I can always get them wrapped but I prefer the original parts, if available.

Thanks.

Dark chrome kidney grills is an M Individual request. When I visited the M studio, all the frozen cars had black chrome grills. They said that the M guys at BMW like all their frozen cars with black chrome. I suggested they should just make that a standard option with all frozen colors. They said they'd consider it for the next-gen model.

Yeah looks so much better. So can I order it without the frozen paint? Any idea of part number? Did you by any chance notice if the car had matching door handle accents?

Thanks for the link. Are these any good?

I noticed the front side vent covers have some sort of plastic part that looks like a light or a reflector. So what is it, and is there any wiring required?

Yes there's definitely wiring to do on the side markers. The front grilles are pretty easy. There's DIY guides in the DIY forum.

Are the side grille led markers also black chrome?

Or are they just gloss black?

IND?

Is the dark chrome more like gunmetal in color? I'm now thinking of getting the gloss black grilles and side markers to match the shadowline window trim. What do you guys think?
