Road Rash Repair
I have some small road rash repair needed on 3 of my HRE p101s. On two wheels it is very minor (may 1/4 inch) and on the third it is about 1 1/2 long. My plan was to send them back to HRE, but they charge $250/wheel and almost $500 to ship back and forth so that is $1,250 for the repair. Does anyone have a very good shop in the greater New York area (I live in Westchester) that they could recommend. I don't want to take the chance of messing them up further, but the needed repairs are quite minimal.

Yes. I highly recommend Mario over at Proformance Industries New Rochelle 914 654-1010. They do top notch work on all wheels including fantastic powder coating work. Tell him Mark with the black X5M sent you to him. He should hook you up.

Thanks. I ended up bringing them to the guys at AI design in Tuckahoe. They have done some great work on my car and the M5 is usually the most mundane car in their shop.
