M5 involved in Fatal crash in South Florida

This was posted by a friend in our South Florida M5/M6 group chat earlier today. Although the reporter references a MB it's been confirmed that it was an M5 by another member of our group.

The passenger was ejected from the vehicle and died and the driver's in critical condition; both were known to some members of our group.

The car is barely recognizable.

This is a somber reminder that although these cars are well-built and safe a high velocity accident rarely ends well and this was certainly no exception.

I think many of us are guilty as charged when it comes to our driving so hopefully this puts sh-t into perspective.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families.

I know someone that actually survived something like that.... He is not a pretty man now. Knowing the power of the M5 is one thing, ability to know when to say to yourself " that's it " and let off the gas is something priceless.
