M5 steering wheel heavy as comfort mode?

hi,

Does F10 M5 steering wheel heavy as comfort mode?
I have set the steering wheel as comfort, sport, sport + mode, but I feel like it is the same not a big different as other car. it doesn't feel comforter or heavier.
Is it normal or my car has a problem. I have never driven sport car or super car before, so I guess super car steering wheel might be heavy as comfort right?

There is a huge difference between the comfort steering setting and sport+. Are you getting any errors in your check control screen?

Might want to have a dealer look at it. It's not a slight difference at all so if you really can't tell then maybe there is an issue with your servotronic.

Try turning slowly into a parking space with 1 hand in sport+ mode, big difference...

The weight of the steering is speed sensitive, so you notice the difference most as you gain speed because then the sport modes become more heavy.

Comforter for stay warm

Just leave it in comfort 100% of the time. Best mode for daily driving and track driving. Sport+ is only for straight line autobahn speeds.

I actually find Sport+ is excellent for cornering. Comfort is too light and things like expansion joints can change the angle of the wheel. In Sport+ it is far easier to hold the wheel steady. I found Sport+ to provide much better control on both switchbacks, and high speed city driving. Also I find the level of road feel in Sport+ to be quite good.

It doesn't pop up any error on the screen.
I guess they forgot to plug in any cables which related to steering wheel function when they changed H&R spring for me (do you think that?). I should test more in sport+ mode maybe it is an issue.

All you have to do is drive it in normal mode and you will see that the steering is easy. Then switch it up to the next two settings and you will see that it will in fact change. That is your indication if it is not working properly. If not, then take it in for a look see.

Very possible. They do have to temporarily unplug EDC cables during install of springs.
