Yup that part does suck. There will be no Bang & Olufsen option for the M3/M4. I feel like you do, now that I've had it in my M5 for over a year now, I can't live without it.

My position on cars I get value over 5 to 6 years from personal enjoyment, and either give one to a family member or a good trade. When I say take a loss I will not buy a car, and trade it in two years on major loss in value/sales taxes. Also not a fan of leasing nor car payments. I love cars, and enjoy them for awhile vs. selling for the new model while staying with the same car and maker. Hope that helps.

Thanks
dhirm5, did you have any luck adjusting the maximum seat tilt? The 2013 seats were perfect for me, but I no longer have the same thigh support on the 2014, due to the reduced tilt. Sometimes being 6-7 sucks.

And if that alone bothers someone enough to trade your car in for a '14, so be it. Everyone has different tolerances. I'm that way about rattles that can't be eradicated. Drives me nuts.

The '14 (comp and no comp) has better steering feel to the '13s and no vibration noticeable that I would even come close to complaining about. BMW definitely addressed that vibration issue with the '14s.

No luck. I'm basically used to it now; I tried having my SA talk to BMW about it without yielding any fruit.

Thanks. I seem to be getting more annoyed with it over time. I may get under there and see if I can find a way to increase the tilt.

Look forward to my upcoming thread "does anyone know how to put an M5 driver seat back together".

LOL - good luck man. I'd love to know if something was possible here, but I'm not brave enough to take things apart.

Yeah, but I bet you can dunk! I'm 6' and the best I could ever do was grab the rim. I used to play a lot of B ball and I wanted to dunk so badly it made me sick!

Sorry, off topic. I have some unresolved regrets here.
