I'll be in New York City soon and upcoming East Coast events
Hey for those that live up a little more North East than DC, I'll be up your way soon.
First, I'm doing the Philly Cheesesteak run on May 10th, 2014. So if anyone wants to come down and hang out that's cool. Next, I'll be up in New York City, Manhattan with my Riviera Blue M5 on June 4th. I'll be up there to meet up with some old friends of mine flying in from San Diego and hang out in the city for a few days but I've reserved Wednesday the 4th to just hang out with car people and cause ///Mayhem with a straightpiped M5 in the city. I know it's in the middle of the week, but it just worked out that way. I'll be driving up from DC on the morning of June 4th, but I'll be available to hang out pretty much all day. I may be available to hang out on Saturday the 7th of June also. Unfortunately because my friends are the ones who decided to visit NYC the week of June 4th, I won't be able to attend Timmayfest this year. But... I'm planning on being at ///MPact this year on July 12th. So, I'm guessing that a lot of people from all around will be there. It will be my first time at ///MPact, seems like a legit event. We'll see how it compares to the events I'm used to back on the West Coast. Also, there looks to be 1 day ///M School event for BMW CCA Members and the National Capital Chapter and another partner chapter will be doing a road trip down to the ///M School in South Carolina in the middle of July. I may be going to this because I'm hoping by that time the new F80 M3 and F82 M4 will be at the school and I want to get the opportunity to drive them both at the ///M School for a one day session. So we'll see about this one. Finally, Bimmerfest East will be going down in August. So I'll definitely be there for that one. My M5 will be in the RPi Booth at this years event. So let's coordinate something all you New York City and North Jersey peeps. V12 this means you bro. Lol!

Rallye BMW is having a car show on their lot on June 1st. Would be awesome if you could come up a few days earlier to make that!

How about putting together a dinner on the 4th? We could pick a place in the City and just get together to eat or pick a place outside the City (I have a few good choices in lower Westchester) where we can all meet with our cars.

Cheesesteak runs.. brings back memories. I used to take so many cheesesteak runs in my E60 M5. That's how I broke one of them in.. in just 4 days.
I heard of this place in DC steak&ice or something like that? Is it any good?

- DSC Off, go into S3 - hold the DCT lever up (- position) - flag should appear indicating LC is aktiv - apply throttle (car shouldn't move) to the floor - let go of DCT lever and LC happens, be ready to correct under/over steer OR - let off the gas first, then let go of the DCT lever second to cancel LC
