That is the best deal I've heard.
Mind if I ask how you get such a deal?
ED?
What is the final selling price?

I would consider that an excellent deal. Even with removal of cap cost reduction that would be a below invoice deal!

If you can snag this deal do it. Only suggestion do MSD's in lieu of cap cost reduction.

Keep us posted if you pull the trigger!

Tough call - you know that thing has been brutalized during it's break in period. Still...it's a lease, so you'll return it regardless of condition.

Should be able to negotiate deeper.

I would say to avoid it.
You have to look at what you end up paying instead of the monthly payment.
At the end of the lease, you would have already paid $47400 in three years time.
Why not just pay a little extra for a new one.

check bmwconfig.com and build out the vehicle in question. That will tell you invoice price, MSRP, etc. Also go to http://www.ridewithg.com/index.php/c...ase-rates/bmw/ to get the current lease MF and residual. Put it into an auto lease calculator and it will spit out your payment. http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm

If you dont have a trade be open to going outside your area. Negotiate over invoice. It sounds like from other threads that dealers have inventory on their lot. If you are willing to come to OH I have a great CA and dealership who will work with you. Several forum members have bought through them. PM for his info.

I ran some numbers for you with this info.

MSRP - $109K
Cap Cost - $99K
Down payment - $10K
Residual 51%
Money Factor - .00125 (this is the buy rate. usually the dealer will mark this up. I added .0004 to the MF). Money Factor to customer is .00165.
Sales tax - ? Depending on where you live. I used 6.75%. This is tax where I live.
15K miles per year

$1245.38/month

Don't negotiate a payment. The residual will stay consistent, since its based off MSRP. Negotiate the selling price and MF. There is no shortage of M5's. You have a lot of options for dealers to choose from.

^ This. Also, don't put a down payment (cap cost reduction) if you can swing it - rather, go wit the multiple security deposits. BMWFS holds your $, but you get it back when you turn in the car.

cmhsam is directing you to the correct strategy. Figure out the options you want and the lease program that fits your driving needs (as he said the residuals are fixed based on the annual milage you need), then negotiate with the dealer the premium you are willing to pay over invoice. Given what some members are posting on this board, there are large numbers of M5s in dealer stock so you have the negotiating leverage. Others may disagree with my guidance, but I would think something in the range of $1,500 to $3,000 over invoice is both feasible and reasonable.

Also, I would recommend not putting any money down (cap cost reduction) on a lease. All BMW FS leases come with GAP insurance that pays off the lease in full if the car is totaled. If you put money down and the car is totaled you may not get all or any of that money back from the insurance company. Better to hold onto the money yourself.

Go to bmwconfig.com and build the car. This will tell you the invoice price. As AGS mentioned you should be able to get $1500 - $3000 over US Invoice Price.
