Do Non-Black M6 interiors have deviated / contrasting stitching?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Do non-black M6 interiors automatically come with deviated (contrasting) stitching. The seats in this photo appear to have dark stitching. On the BMW USA website, I don't see a provision for a deviated stitching option in the 'Build Your Own' section The first and third "Red Interior" photos are from a M6, while the second and fourth ones are from a M5. To my eye, the M5 Sakhir Red interior had matching Sakhir Red stitching, while in the M6 the stitching is darker, etc. |

My understanding is that contrast stitching is an M6 series thing. Part of BMW's effort to position the upcoming M6 Grand Coupe is an upmarket version of the M5. If I were BMW, I'd offer an upmarket interior option in the M5, at least as an Individual option, but BMW knows one Hell of a lot more about marketing than I do and I'm sure they've thought this through.

Was thinking Sakhir leather with silverstone or black stitching depending on if I go with Frozen black or frozen gray. |
