Anyone is Regretting?!
Good day M5 F10 owners...
Now that the F10 LCI is released, and before proceeding with any ordering, I thought of double checking with this passionate community by asking a question that some of you might find silly or not appropriate, but I think it worth asking if there is anyone who has regretted going for an M5 F10 for any reason!! or regretted ordering specific feature(s) specially if you have built yours F10... Thanks for your time in advance.

Enjoy.. Any recommendations (features wise)? Though I understand you might need some time to really evaluate and neutralize... Once again congratulations

20" wheels a must. Heated seats all round and steering wheel heating ( it's cold here in winter). Multi-Function seats another must have IMO. Just a few of the thinks I have.

Many Thanks Johnbmw6...
Where I am, i'd need to focus on the ventilated seats more than heated ones as we live in a warm part of the world Thanks again

If you are looking for a fast luxurious GT it is a great car. Don't be mistaken that you are going to get a car that you can throw into corners. It is not a light weight tossable car like the M3.

its just different type of fun! if u want lightweight 4door, wait for another 8-9 months until f30 m3 will hit the showrooms u cant go wrong with any M, just make sure u buy one for your needs, not for the exterior look or its price |

I love it. In fact I'm going double down. Have my second M5 on the way.

If you need/want a 4 door sedan, I don't think there's anything better.
Skip the Drivers Assistance package (USA). For me, the car is too heavy. Agree it does exceptionally well for what it is, but you can't defy the laws of physics. I'll be looking for a lighter alternative shortly.

With that being said, no regrets here! The acceleration of this thing on freeway onramps still catches me off guard sometimes. I see the DSC light more than I see myself in the mirror.

No regrets for the car. Some options I wouldn't recommend are
rear-seat entertainment (especially not 'high resolution' version, get iPads better) heated steering wheel (steering wheel and hands usually exchange temperature to a mild acceptable by the time car's steering becomes hot and useless) night vision (expensive, but saved a pedestrian once by bringing the 'recognized pedestrian' to Heads Up Display so up to consideration) Otherwise a very good car. No regrets |

If its your only car and you need 4 doors then it's a great car. A little bit of everything. No regrets but if you're like me and you're the type to wake up early on a saturday or Sunday to go out for a a drive or a car that comes to life when you start it, the M5 isn't going to cut it. You'll need another.
