Secondary cats are in the DP too. Resonators missing. I would just buy the Akra exhaust. Same thing. Akra is making this for BMW. Very surprised that we didn't see a markup.

There is one thing that always irks me about BMW. You are almost compelled to spend another 4 grand on an aftermarket exhaust just to make your M car sound respectable. That is the main reason i am considering the upcoming C63 AMG over the F80 M3. When you lay so much cash on the table for a high performance car, the sound is just as important as performance/handling, and sound is one area AMG blows BMW out of the water.

Sound seems to be a cultural thing perhaps? I far prefer the sound of a M5, E36/E46 M3 over any V8 burble AMG. To much muscle car sound. If I want a car that sounds like a muscle car, I'd buy a Shelby Mustang not an AMG... If I want a more distinguished sound, I'd go for a BMW M (apart from E9x M3).

But I get that to many, the AMG sounds more "muscular" or butch. Just as a NASCAR sounds growlier than the high pitched scream of a F1 engine.

You dont think amg owners are doing the same. I fell in love with akra exhausts after hearing a c63 with one.

Well said. I like high pitched raspy. Others like gurgle. Others like a lot of bass (eg civic exhausts lol).

so for the black grilles thats $207.69 for each side, so would be $415.38 for both?
or $207.69 total for both left and right?

I took mine out and tack welded my exhaust flaps open and the car sounds amazing. All my customers at my shop want to know what brand exhaust I installed in it.

Agreed. however, I was chatting with a guy who had his new AMG Black Edition in a shop with my 991 and when he drove away-wow! IT sounded REALLY insane. Not like a Shelby whatsoever. Had that German tuned but deep roar.
