Moonstone M5 Turn In

First off, I'd like to thank BMW of Gainesville and Gregg Green for a great delivery experience. They had the car completely covered, completely, you couldn't see the wheels or anything. Gregg said everyone was asking what is was and people were guessing the new i8. It's really great to have your car unveiled before your eyes. It was the same experience I felt when I went to LA last year for the M5 North America debut.

This was my first time seeing Moonstone Metallic and all I can say is WOW!!!! No pictures express the hues and color changes you experience while walking around the car. Sometimes it looks like non-metallic grey, a silver metallic with a blue shadow cast, a metallic diamond white and then a true metallic silver. It's very different and I love it!!!!

The interior is Full Black leather with dark red sycamore wood trim. I optioned it out with Driver Assistance Package, Executive Package, 20" wheels and B&O Sound. The B&O sound is awesome!!! It's so much better than my upgraded sound that was in my 2011 550i.

The ride is everything I imaged. I've had 3 7's and my last was the 2011 550i, they all rode great, but the M5 is what I expected from a high performance sports sedan, smooth in comfort and sports car in sport plus. This is the way the car feels to me, I'm not a professional driver, just a guy who enjoys all BMW products and loves the M division. I've always wanted an M and it is well worth the wait.

Nice choice in options! I have same options and interior (thanks for the pics..only US spec car I've seen interior pics of with this combo). My exterior is AB. I look forward to pics of that Moonstone in the sun and more interior as well!

Car looks great! congrats! Mine is exactly the same except I picked the Anthracite trim and left out the B&O.
I really like the dark red sycamore wood trim and contrast, makes me second guess my decision

There is a bit of blue iridescent cast off in direct sun light at a side angle.
