I like the CCB but not fond of the gold calipers. I wish there is a way to change it.

This. You already started down the path of red for your accent color with the intakes. Plus it matches your tail-lights as well. With the way you have it modded now the less colors there are the better. To finish off the red accent theme get yourself a red top stripe alcantara wheel. That way it will be complete. Touch of red on the front, sides, rear, and interior. Plus the accent is subtle enough to be clean and not take over your black theme.

Then if you want to get crazy you can pop in some red BBS centercaps...

I was leaning towards red. For the steering wheel I have the electronic performance one that's getting installed this week. I don't want to go too crazy with red accents because that's when you start to get tacky. Calipers, if I decide to go red, will be the last of the red accents on the car.

I agree 1000% on the tacky part, especially with a black out them like you have currently. That's why I like top stripes on alcantara wheels. It is a very subtle addition that can tie the accent color to the interior. The other option is to consider red seat belts. Think e36 ltw style. If executed on an all black interior it can be the right amount of pop without being tacky imo. The moment you add any other red though then it gets out of hand in the interior. This is a M5 after all. Can get ridiculous with a M3 or M2, but a M5 needs a certain level of restraint.

Do you have hud? I've been considering the electronic wheel, but am indecisive if the ewheel and hud is just too much. If you wouldn't mind giving you feedback on the wheel after you have had some time with it, that would be awesome.

I do have HUD but I don't use it. With the car being so low and how much my wheels cost the HUD is in the way of where I'm usually scanning for potholes and dips. I'll pm you after having the steering wheel installed and let you know what I think. I had non electric on my 535 and loved it, I'm sure this will be even better with the electronic display and thicker wheel.

If blue wasn't the stock color a lot of people would be suggesting blue

Lambo orange is awesome, though!!

Pretty sure I'm going to go with red at this point, any other color would just clash with the theme of the car. What shade of red I have yet to figure out.
