BMS Stage 1 2.0,3.5,4.0

Folks, can someone help me out.

I am going to be running BMS Stage 1 for a while until I settle on a proper Full Flash strategy that can accomplish my long-term power goals.

Can someone help me understand how to change the boost setting on the stage 1? I have it installed with the Bluetooth app.

Do I change from Map 1 to Map 3 to get the higher boost settings?

The old Stage1 system was adjustable while the new Stage1 system is not. What is the full firmware date of the system installed?

That's an older system where boost is adjustable from 0-5psi. Default is 4psi.

How do I adjust it to 5 psi using the bluetooth app? Change of Map?

You should be able to adjust it by changing boost limit in the settings page

How would I know if I purchased the new or old version? I bought mine new on June 5, 2016 which I would assume is the new version and non-adjustable. If you say it is by firmware version, what do I need to do to check the firmware?

Thanks.

If you plug the JB4 to a laptop using the USB cable, under settings it should tell you firmware version.

Thanks for your response. Would this be a case I have to buy a $35 cable to find out I cannot adjust anything. Or does the JB Stage 1 have other settings I could use the cable for if I have a non-adjustable boost version?

For the stage 1, the only available setting would be to datalog boost

I had a newer version stage 1, and it allowed me to go down in boost, but not up(4psi-3psi). Recently went JB4 w/o boost control for the extra features and maps.
