This one is crazy man. Honestly though driving them you don't feel that much of a difference. The most noticeable thing is the steering. Even more precise. And the torque curve is different. The 650S just pulls very evenly throughout a wider range.

If u had followed my advice and got the 650S the first time, u would have save yourself the trouble and probably some $ trading up U should seriously consider taking this bad baby to the track. I took my Speciale to Sepang F1 circuit yesterday and it was a blast! I am sure your 650S would be no less fun! Such cars can only be truly enjoyed on the track! The 650S spyder is the only topless car I wouldn't mind having. I have never liked topless cars, but 12C/650S are the exceptions due to them not loosing any rigidity without the roof!

I know I know-lol!

I am probably going to take this to the track at least once or twice. I have a buddy here who is pushing me to take my cars. I spoke to a guy yesterday who has a 12C amongst several other cars and is a big track guy. I asked if there was a difference. He said the 650S is just insane around the track. Corners so fast and flat. After going to Petit LeMans last weekend and seeing those guys flying around Road Atlanta I definitely have to try it!

I am very worried about hurting the car though.

No need to worry about hurting the car. It can handle it! Just make sure u do the pre-tracking precautionary checks like air pressure on the tires and making sure there are no nails stuck to it. The car is so new, so I don't think an oil change is necessary at this point. When tracking, make sure u pay attention to oil and water temperature and importantly, your fuel level indicator. Yes, it's possible to go round and round until your fuel tank dries up on u. These things are guzzlers when going round the tracks. Do note that 12C/650S has a different handling characteristics unlike more conventional supercars. Their brake steer takes some getting used to. Always best to have some experienced track guy seated next to u showing u the lines around the circuit and guiding u on the braking points. That alone would prevent u from getting into the gravel, which is nasty! Work your way slowly around the track. No need to set the track ablaze. We are in it for the fun!

Yo Brian Im good--- I cant buy 300k cars that are worth 200k in 5 months LOL. While I joke slightly and I waste money, its tough to see how McLaren values just plummet. I would much rather have a 458 Speciale. Its my opinion and I respect Coldlist for what he likes and does too- Two Turbos and two McLarens in 10 months is hilarious though
