AMG #9 for me- The AMG GTS Edition 1- Pics!!!
Ive already done a writeup in another thread about my test drive with this car. Let me be clear, its not the same car as the GT3 nor would I want it to since I know people will ask (I still have the GT3 but maybe it goes). The GTS is an amazing blend of trackability and streetability; with the street being more prevalent. AMG has done an excellent job with this version, inside and out. The exhaust, steering, brakes, suspension, chassis feel, and interior all are exceptional in quality and in performance. The power and pull down low and up to triple digit 100's is strong. This is definitely the fastest and quickest Benz Ive owned (stock). I got the Edition 1 because it has a few parts that are not available on normal GTS's: carbon roof, fixed rear wing, front and side aero parts, and Ive never had a grey car before. The color really pops in the sun though. The interior is amazing and the feel in the cockpit is one of the best. The Nav and larger screen along with the Benz mouse control is easy. I was able to program the entire car (lights, seats, radio, nav, etc) in about 10 minutes. Its that easy to set the car up the way you want it.
So lets see how long this one lasts.... Cell phone shots for your pleasure:

Congrats Vic! Love the edition 1
I really like the fixed wing on this car. The rear shot reminds me of an old my favorite of mine.

Honestly I don't know because Im the beta. I would guess with the Turbo engine and Benz admitting they left a lot of the table (boost wise); Ill get maybe 60 wheel tq/hp or more? Im doing to do a conservative tune and it will be on the dyno so we can sharpen it up. The tuner is going to Dubai on Wednesday and will install what we came up with into several GTS's.

Awesome purchase, congratulations Beautiful and understated color! 305's should definitely fit in the rear, if there's room for 325, that would make it look even stronger. How's the steering compared to the GT3 and 458?

The steering is very light- but its tight when its at speed. I don't have hardly any miles on it but I have pushed it with every opportunity. Benz went back to hydraulic steering on this car and pulled their electronics out. Im glad they did; I feel a better turn in at low speeds and less understeer in higher speed hard bends. Its hard to say how it compares to the 458 or GT3 as I need more time but I would give it an initial "exceeds expectations" in early comparison. IMHO the GT3 has minimal understeer and the 458 has hardly any. The car that has incredible steering is the FF- it shocks me for its weight.

Looks fantastic! I hope the tune works out really well and you get great results! After reading your write up..I somewhat suspected this would be the outcome!
