Burger Motorsports (BMS) - acquires 2014 f10 M5 test mule!
Hey guys,
I was excited to see that as a result of the community's suport for the stage 1 package, BMS has acquired a car to concentrate some tuning efforts on. The original tune being essentially an N63 specific package adapted to the s63, which still yielded 70 wheel hp, should become way more dynamic with Terry now being 100% invested! I have no affiliation with bms except me buying lots of their stuff over the years... More here: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23156

Great news.
It's getting a bit old waiting for other tunes.

Yeah agreed. I he can devise a stage 2 with some CAN features and a race fuel option I'd be delighted.
Regardless, it means he'll have improvements and upgrades and will probably solve the CEL from DPs that no one seems to be able to address.

I'm with Spinny. These tunes need to fix codes that are related, and delete the speed limiter along with adding much needed tq/hp.

Terry,
Really made the N54 world dynamic and exciting cause he's not just running a business, but an enthusiast and does tons of roll racing events. Now that he has the M5 he's gonna want to win with that platform, which we benefit from ultimately through his development

Im glad they got an M5 because that can only be great news for us. Ive been seriously considering the current stage 1 piggyback from them but im still on the fence because i dont need any engine issues

PM me and I will give you my email address.
Here's what I need to know: 1. 6MT or DCT 2. Gasoline octane/blend 3. ALL mods (including press file, etc.) 4. Dyno files (not always necessary, can work with results posted on forums if files aren't available) To calculate density altitude, I will need weather conditions and dyno location (address). Weather conditions can come from the dynojet .drf files. Give me the address of the dyno, and I can look up altitude from Google Earth and enter in the database. From there, density altitude is calculated by looking up the dyno drum ID in the database. I only need the dyno location once to input into the database. |

I still took him with my intake / DP CP M6 . But great gains on a stock car , now that he's doing some real testing on the S63 TU I'm looking forward to seeing whether he can get a JB4 type product for us .

I'm shopping everything... My impulsiveness is at an all time high lol. I'm really hoping Terry can get something quick. I don't think he'd bs like dinan where if he wasn't close or it was within grasp he'd say so. The second week I had my car Dinan was saying their tune was coming soon lmao

It looks like he ran a best 11.493 @ 126.72mph with just BMS stage 1 tune and I believe he cut a hole in the bottom of the airbox and took out the CFs. He also trapped 127+mph on a couple of the other runs. |
