Had my Akrapovic installed a few weeks ago, they did a good job, cost me $187.
They do a lot of BMWs work there.

Yeah, they are good, but pricey. I called them before, they quoted me $340 just for install the Akrapovic, that's a hour and half job.

I went with Motorwerks... and they are pricey based on the number of labor hours they say it takes... they said 3.5 hours for the exhaust.

and 8!!!!!! hours to put on springs!!!

But you get what you pay for. with the lack of options here in houston, I'll pay a little extra.

I was quoted $450 to install the H&R Springs in Columbus, OH. They said 5-6 hours worth of work but they had never worked on a F10 M5. I am not suprised since its a new car but wouldnt want my car to be the guinea pig.

Yes, I believe it'll be 8 for springs. A friend and I did the springs on my E60 M5 and it did take the better part of the day.

Motorwerks may be more expensive than most, but they're a quality shop; that gives me peace of mind.

EVS Motors can do it all. Look them up on FB and check out l the cars they work on. They did full front Xpel ultimate film and solar adaptive 35% tint on my Singapore Grey. Anson at Vive detailing did my new car prep and 22PLE glass coat.

I was at EVS on Tuesday this week and saw an SG M5 getting xpel and tint. Was that yours? I'm dropping mine off on Wed for same thing! Are you happy with 22ple? I've heard EVS does great work, we'll see

Yes that was mine. You must be the other SG that came in but you are going Opticoat. EVS has done film on my cars for many years and that is because Ted only carries the best stuff. My Audi Q7 is covered with Avery Nano Fusion PPF and Huper Optik and it still looking great. Also Anson has been regularly detailing my cars for the past 5 years and IMO probably the best detailer in Houston.

Very happy with 22PLE so far. The deep deep shine is amazing, even over the filmed hood and fenders. I cannot compare to opti but I can tell its better than AQuartz already. Only time will tell I guess. I use it as a daily driver so lets see how it holds up. I did the 22PLE on the wheels, calipers, and glass as well

Just got my tint done at EVS. Went ahead and ordered the black grill, fenders, and black badge from them too.

Did you take delivery at Momentum West? If so then we took delivery at the same time as well. A SG order was delivered a few days before mine was.

I wonder how many M5's the Houston market will see? I got mine at Advantage Midtown and they had 3 total. Singapore, Alpine White & Sakhir. I took the white! and the Singapore sold at the same time.

I did euro delivery and am on the way back from picking up after PCD now. I purchased from Franchesca at Steve Thomas BMW, whom I highly recommend by the way.

Which tint did you get? Need my car done and been looking for a reputable place here in Houston. Certainly a ton of not so reputable places here!

I did the Solar Adaptive 35% Tint. Like transitions lenses it is about 5% darker in sunlight and 5% lighter in the dark. Heat rejection is supposed to be better than Huper Optik which I have used on all my vehicles up until now. It is a bit pricier than Huper which is already $$

I highly recommend Huper 40% dual layer ceramic or 35% single layer as I have been very happy over the years with both esp in Houston.

SAT looks good but cannot comment on heat performance until next summer.

Did you do the 35% all the way around? Any pics? I like the adaptive....don't want the car to be too dark. Was thinking about 50% / 35%.

And thanks!

I contacted Motorwerks last week, and they quoted me $600 to install Hr springs. Wow, that is high, so I will be finding another source for that job. My Rpi exhaust should arrive on wednsday. If it does, I will put that on myself at my friends house on thursday as he has a lift. I will post up a video after the install. This monday, I get the expel clear bra and window tint put on at X-pert tint at 59/beltway.

X-Pert tint at 59/beltway. Even if you wanted to get your cleaer bra done. They had just finished an audi r8gt, and a audi s5 when I got there. They also had a bentley, porsche waiting to get theirs done. They are working on mine this monday.
