M5 Competition Springs

I just had the competition front and rear sways installed. They improve the car in turns (obviously) and on the highway when you are WOT the rear end of the car doesn't want to feel loose or sway.

I want to hear from M5 owners that have installed the competition springs with original (non-cp) struts.

How is the ride? What are your thoughts?

Also, I stopped thinking about installing CP springs because others said you would need to install the CP struts as well or else the ride wouldn't be right. However I have talked to others who say it's perfectly ok to install them. Any thoughts on this?

Would be great to hear from someone who has installed CP springs on their M5 with non-cp struts.

I'd like to know this information as well.

Did you install the Front and rear sways yourself?

I have Dinan sways and KW HAS springs on non CP suspension, lowered to CP ride height, and ride is excellent. Don't know about CP springs but I know the stiffer KW springs alone help a lot with rebound dampening to improve ride.
In sport susp mode, a lot of the little road chatter is filtered out so even though the ride can be a little stiffer it can feel smoother than comfort mode.
And lowering your ride height even a little will definitely complement your upgraded sway bars to improve roll when turning as well as dive and squat when accelerating/ braking. It gives you more confidence in any high speed maneuvers.

CP Springs sound like a lot of work for little reward in look and performance. BMW valved their struts to accommodate the stiffer springs.

Why not look at KWV3? Street price is less than $2,600 and you can resell them later when you are done at a good price. Even the M4 GTS uses K&W coilovers.

Where do you see street price of 2600? I see them for 3300+, but have not asked any specific vendors for quotes.
