I'm sorry you feel this way but the G37 intake doesn't even come close to the design and all the CNC parts used. Even the filters with manufactured pre filters are not cheap. If I wanted to make a cheap intake believe me I could have but that's not my goal. You have no idea what it takes to make an intake for BMW Dme sensitivity with this kind of design. Theres other well known companies that get all sorts of cel with their intakes and don't even come close to the performance numbers do to its unconventional design.

Sorry if you feel it's not worth it and I don't expect you to understand what it took to make it work properly without getting any cel's. It's design has changed in so many ways till I got it right and on top of that making sure every car with every mod had no cel. There's even another company out there copying the design and from what I've heard from a tuner the cars Dme had so many stored codes.

And let's not forget the customer service I bring to the table, I'm here for my guys 24/7 even if it has nothing to do with my products. I even make sure to guide them in the right direction and other companies products when I see fit just to make sure they're happy with their end results.

No worries no one is asking you to buy the intake but don't try and compare a cheap intake when you haven't even seen it in person, heard it or its power potential before you speak your mind. Just ask the ones who own the intake I believe they can give you they're opinion and I'm sure they will all have the same thing to say.

Take care and enjoy the rest of your evening

I have seen these intakes and they are art. 13M5F10s car looks and sounds great with these intakes and I feel that they are the only design that makes sense to me in terms of improving air flow and reducing heat soak.

Ignore him please. You dont need to justify your work and effort to no one. A welll made, class leading product sells itself. This product is aimed at people who are serious about there car, value it and want the best.

No offence. If its too expensive, stick to ebay and Taiwanese knock offs that give 50bhp promises

All the best.

@harry007 I agree .. and we have to remember everyone will have their opinion on things. At the end of the day it's all about quality of the product and the customer service and what that's worth to someone. MSR Performance has exceeded expectations in both areas and more. George is not joking when he says he provides 24/7 customer service. I have hit him up at all hours of the day for stuff that has nothing to do with his products and he has provided support a 110%!

People also have to remember that the reason for the the high price for parts and services is the fact that the amount of M5s on the road is probably 1/8 of the number of G37s on the road. In DFW you might see 1 M5 every other month and it's the same exact one. On a daily basis I see a G37 or 370z and its never the same car.

So think about that.

Not for nothing, we've come a LONG way with our platform and m6beast / MSR's involvement has been instrumental.

Didn't mean to ruffle feathers, gents, nor question quality of product. I literally laughed out loud when I saw the price...I have never paid that much for an intake and don't plan on doing so. We all spend our resources differently and while the sound this intake makes is intoxicating, it's not worth the money [to me]. Much like having 800k in a checking account and not buying a couple of 458 Italias (one red and one yellow) or Porsche Carrera GT.

I get the whole M tax, and the fact there are 20 times as many g37's on the road as there are F10 M5's. If you're the only provider of an intake like this, then more power to you. You should patent it and charge 5,000.

Intakes for the M5 are extremely expensive, I was shocked to learn when I purchased my M5, how expensive some of these systems are.

But if you want one, this one is the one to get. As I had too when I heard how it sounds and performs.

No worries, I understand and agree that mods on these cars are expensive. It's how the market goes for these types of cars.

When I looked into the comparison intake products I didn't see a solution that made sense to me - they all seem to take in air from inside the hood.. In Texas, trust me on a 100F hot summers day with two turbos running hot... Well you get the picture

Competing products might be less expensive but then I don't see any real fundamental change to their design.. It must also cost $$$ to make a product like this because the workmanship is art.

Reach out to m6beast through PM. He has a discount for forum members and we recently went though a Group Purchase as well which he may honor. It's not the cheapest out there but the quality of the product is above all and the gains are amazing

Install done! Thanks to grumpywings for the install!! I really appreciated your time and effort today to help me install night vision adapted MSR intakes. Thanks George for hooking me up with Phil. What a difference it makes so work with people who care about their product!
