When I was at BMW Korea performance school, the instructor during skid pad drift demonstration would just spin the steering wheel quickly and let go for counter steer and then catch the the steering wheel again to hold the slide. He told us not to do that because it's not the right way but once you get good enough, you could do it. Here is a youtube video where Sebastian Vettel give a journalist a ride in a Ferrari also doing one handed power slide. Maybe they all doing it to impress the passengers. |
