Videos: Tuned F10 M5 Airstrip Attack Results (vs CLS 63, 997 Turbo, C63, Lambo LP560)

Ok ran yesterday with a very mild tune and eisenmann exhaust.
Well ran into some issues initially where my boost would not go past 10psi

Lost big time while having issues:
1) c63p31,tune, exhaust and long tubes.
2) e46 modded with turbo upgrade.

Worked some magic and did a complete reset and won the following:
1) c63 with exhaust and tune 4 car lengths
2) rx7 with LS1 engine swap
3) RB turbo 335 beat the tuned c63p31 that I lost to by 2 cars
4) 997 turbo
5) vette
Lost while running strong
1) cls63 weistec tune, complete exhaust, ice kit and ton of over goodies. He was trapping 160mph
2) brand new Lamborghini Lp560 hit rev limiter a little on 2/3 shift. He got me by a car and 1/2.

My best trap speed while running strong was 155.8mph. The car was getting faster and faster as the day continued. Adapting ??? Who knows.
Peak boost was 18.5psi

Arnie's stock M5 just trapped 147mph today but I don't have all his results yet.


Here is my run against the Weistec tune CLS 63 pp with downpipes, exhaust, ICE kit. He was running 160ish traps all day long..We didn't get a trap speed on this one but i held my own considering.

Here is the run vs a 997 Turbo he had a few mods.

And here is the run of C63 with Tune and full exhaust.

ok last one me vs LP560. I hit the rev limiter on this run 2-3 shift.

Hey Buddy, here's how my day went.

First of all, Nikko is nothing but a class act!!! He ran yesterday and I ran today. Too bad we didn't get a chance to run heads up to see what his tune really accomplished. One thing I can say with certainty is that his car, post tune is faster than mine. A lot faster. Here are a few facts!!!

• My fastest trapped speed was 149.6 mph.
• I ran the same highly tuned 335i (560hp) as Nikko did and tied. Must admit I jumped him a little. Car was a monster!
• I ran Eric's c63 which is now tuned, with headers and exhaust and he got me by a car length. (I missed a shift or it would have been even closer)
• I ran my buddies Ferrari California and killed it by 7 car lengths
• I ran a highly tuned e60, (everything you can bolt on plus a strong tune) and crushed it by 6-10 car lengths. People watching all gave me different reports.
• And finally, I ran and brand new M6 F12 with exhaust, and I beat him by 2 car lengths.

I should also note that I was running my 21" HRE's that I knew would hurt me a little. All in all, a great day, lot's of fun, and additional proof that our M5's are true monsters!!!

Wow! You guys are awesome! Congrats to both of you! I'm almost in disbelief that cpiguy ran so well with those 21's. Lol!

I really wish I could have made it. M school was a blast though. I'll be at the next one for sure! Did they have any idea when the next one would be??
