M5 lease in the US

Looking into leasing an M5 here in Canada and I know with the previous E60 M5, it was leasing out for nearly $1000 less per month in the US then it was here in Canada... just curious to any F10 M5 guys who have leased them...how much is the monthly on an F10 M5 in a lease in the US?

If your going to respond with your monthly payment, please also tell me what was due on delivery, total?

Here in Canada, I am getting prices like 10k due on signing, TOTAL.. $2300 a month.
I'm assuming its at least $700-$800 less in the US...

Mine is 1200 a month with a cap cost reduction, any m5 without a cap cost reduction is automatically 1400+ Plus depending on the MSRP.

I think the range is $1400 to $1600 before cap cost reduction. But you need to be careful as each state deals with sales tax differently.

The upfront payment is first months payment plus about $1600 in fees (bank fee, docs & registration, etc). Then any security deposit or cap cost is additional.

Crazy! So it is still nearly $1000 less a month in the US. Ridiculous...

Sorry, but what is cap cost? or cap cost reduction? We don't have that here, but perhaps we have a different name for it ?

Thank you.

I was looking at putting down 10k total.
which would includes 1st month payment of approx $2300. the ramining $7700 was freight and PDI..some taxes and of course about $3000-$4000 remaining would go towards the down payment to lower the monthly payment

Put down 0 and you pay more per month...every thousand bucks is worth approx $25 a month. So it's the same shit if you do the numbers.

Also, if you are like me and not someone who keeps the car throughout the entire lease then you want to put something down just so your payment is lower, therefore if you want to step out of your lease early, it will be more attractive to potential buyers (lease takeovers).

Mine came in around $1526 a month tax included, no cap reduction. Paid $2800 as my drive off.

That's why I move to California from Toronto 30 years ago. LOL

I got quoted 1800 after 5k cap cost reduction - this is for 36mos at 15k/year. MSRP was around 107k. Am I getting ripped?

I wouldn't put down, that's just me. Let's say you get in a terrible car accident in the first few months and total the car, you can't get your down back. Happened to a family member of mine.

You'd have to explain all the details for that number to make sense.

Really easy.

I did research with all the different residuals, and all the different money factors.

I was aiming to making my payment 909 a month.

So the whole family decided to do European Delivery + 20K down. Everyone would tip in the money.

So I went to 4 different dealers until I ended up with 895 a month.

But the quote I got with 0 down was 1535.14

Agree... it is a personal choice - but it is also a financial choice since you are renting the car... if you want to part with some money on a BMW - it is wise to use the MSD (Multiple Security Deposit) route. It is refundable.

Also, just out of curiosity I wonder how much the m5 costs in all the other countries. I know its expensive in canada but I've heard other countries exceeding 200k US Dollars. I wonder how good the lease deals are over there?
