What is wrong with me?

On any normal day, it takes me a couple of minutes to park my car because I am looking back after walking away or I might even do a walkaround. On nice days when the light is special or I am not pressed for time, or both, I stop, walk, go back, go around, pull out my phone to snap a picture, inspect details, walk around again, grin like an idiot and drag my feet away as if I just parted with my wife after honeymoon at the airport.

What's wrong with me that I think the F10 ///M5 is just an amazing car all around??

No, it is called OCPD, if you want to be correct. They are different.

(H) I know how you feel. I do similar things sometimes.

And that pic is awesome! Did you lower the car?

Must be those 19" wheels.

I know how you feel man, everyday I wonder if I should just get an F80 M3 fully loaded. I was feeling pretty disconnected from the M5 after her incident with the vandals and I usually just take my other car to work everyday. But today, even though it was raining, I decided to take the M5 to work. Traffic was absolutely horrifying today, dead standstill. Took me an hour just to drive 7 miles. In my daily driver I would have been playing footsie with the clutch and 5spd manual all morning, but today thanks to the DCT in the M5 my knee feels great and unworn out. This morning I enjoyed reclining back in my soft leather seats, listening to NPR on the B&O and enjoying seat warmers on the lowest setting all while getting my butt massaged. Not to mention the plethora of full fine merino leather I was surrounded by for an hour this morning. Topped off by the unique sound of the soft close doors and the great feeling of not having to manhandle the drivers door when closing. I got to work feeling relaxed and refreshed instead of already feeling worn out and tired. A 3,500lbs curb weight has little use in bumper to bumper traffic for an hour, ala F80 M3, but I was sure able to enjoy all of the luxuriousness that an M3 doesn't have in an hour long commute. Rain be damned, but damn I love the M5 and what it is.

Right, car does look more ducked somehow specially in the rear wheels. Didn't change anything lately but for the LCI grille (which was probably the fastest ever mod and one of the most impactful ;-)

Love the stands in this picture.

Now also showing the custom caliper blue RPI scoops much better

Another subtle detail that I am really fond of. The LCI grill now finally gives enough visibility.

Yes, see picture above. Or do you think that's too subtle? I find myself debating sometimes if I should have gone with the original red.

All depends on the light conditions and angle - with Red you are going to always see it. My vote is for RED.

I don't like the red unless the car is a bit more 'radical'. I prefer the blue on yours. Your Singapore Bird is a bit more on the under-stated side. So the blue is a nice little touch. Similar to the blue in my side grilles.

You've officially idolized your car. I can empathize.
