My Black '13 F10 M5

Hello, new to the forum.

I love my M, it is my first BMW and I couldn't be more impressed with it. Here are a few pictures, traded in my '11 Range Rover Sport for this about a month ago.

And next to my father's amg:

Congrats
Nice
Would love to hear from you about how M5 stacks up against your father's AMG CLS 63?
I test drove the CLS 63 Launch Model and liked it and sounds better but Transmission was subpar

Thanks for your feedback gents, I am looking forward to the advice/ideas/knowledge I will gain from this forum. Yes, I would love to go on a cruise in Sd sometime soon!
I have already decided on a few initial things I would like to do to her to start, probably even more to follow as time progresses..
-LCI all black kidney grilles with that M5 Logo
-cyba 90mm tips
-K&N drop-in Filters
-aluminum pedal set w/o dead pedal
-blacked out reflectors

And as far as the cls (his d.d.), I believe in a straight line it would be an incredible race from a rolling start. With it's awd (it's a cls63 amg- S) I believe it would get me from a dig, but it does not handle nearly as well as the M. The next time I go visit my fathers house, we have talked about doing a friendly little run and I will let you guys know of the outcome. It sounds great and the interior is a bit more plush, but I prefer my car over it any day IMO.
However, hah he also has another beauty in the garage- which would surely outperform my M in all categories though..

Did you buy it used? I notice it has the ///M welcome / courtesy lights. I think they're neat.

Indeed, I picked it up with 17k on it..a 1 owner car -but feels brand new.
Bought it as is and didn't even know it had the welcome lights until afterwards. I do like them, although a bit showy.

In your first pic is that West Park Bistro in San Carlos? Been there. I finished fellowship about 8 years ago and moved out of SD because of housing prices and the economy. I miss it. Anyway, great car, really like the black x3.
