265/35/20 ok to Mount on a 20 x 9

Just a random question for winter.

255/35/20 I know is recommended for a 20 x 9 Rim

But since our fronts are 265/35/20 I want to run that all around on a 20 x 9 rim and such.

What are people's opinions and thoughts on this?

It's perfectly fine to mount a 265 tire on a 9 inch rim

You might feel a slight sidewall slip during sharp turns but that's only if your really taking a nasty turn
On regular straight roads or city driving

stock front wheels on the F10 m5 are 20x9 with 265/35/20 tires. so i don't see why you cant mount those tires on a 20x9 wheel…

you can also mount the same 265/35/20 tires on a 20x10 wheel (rear wheel).
