I brought my M5 to my dealer this morning for checking the clunk sound I was noticing for the past years...

I drove several 2012 M5's and everyone one of them had the same "clunky sound", so after I bought mine I thought it's was just there...because it can?!

Either way..after reading this thread I contacted the dealer to fix this.

Will see what they will do in the following days..

Dealer changed parts, just like the document posted earlier and everything in warranty.

I have also experienced the clunk in the trunk over bumps etc..... Urrrgh!

Clunk is away for 3 or 4 months now. After time i stopped missing it so it seems like it is gone for good now.

Very happy with this mod.

Thread necromancy, I know. Is there an SIB or TSB for this issue that I can reference when going to the dealer tomorrow? Having the same issue on my 2013.

I have mounted 15mm spacers front and rear too.
Any more pictures of your car with 15mm spacers, I am thinking of 15 front and 12 rear, I'm currently running 12/10
