Loss of power
I was doing about 140, when the light came on that I lossed power. Any idea why this happened. Or is this just a glitch with the cel, I'm running catless dp. A simple restart fixed the problem.

there was a software bug that would cause a drivetrain problem.

Just to verify, when you say a light appeared you mean the CEL (check engine light)?
Could be a few things.. it could be your catless dp's or a faulty O2. Were you WOT when the CEL appeared?

Not the check engine light, thats already on LOL. A different code saying maximum power output not available. After it came on I slowed down because it wouldn't rev over 4000RPM's. Hopefully nothing to be considered about, but definitely odd.

That is the speed when Drivetrain malfunction error comes on when you have catless downpipes.
I am currently testing something to avoid that problem. Check my thread. I will confirm by this weekend whether it has full functionality. http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=934437

You can continue to drive your car with the mal light on. It will reset in about 140 miles even if you shut it off and the light is still there.

They sell OBDII bluetooth dongles paired with an iOS app. Allows you to read out values, error codes, and clear codes.
I understand your malfunction error is not the CEL. Might be worth a try to see if that app and cable will clear your malfunction though.

If u get thatd OBDII cable, as greenturbo mentioned above, you should be fine, as you have no cel, so the malfunction error never comes back Thats how i c it Might be wrong, but makes sense |

Exactly what Mstmng said. So I guess this is just another code that can pop up from the downpipes. Probably from me driving it hard, paired with the colder weather/increased air flow.

Happened again the other night around the same speed. Its almost like after a couple of hard pulls the ecu starts to die down. Restart and I get my boost back. I hope my car isn't limited to 140MPH?? MEHHHHHH

When you got your light, did you pull right over and do a restart or continue to drive and later restart.

I stopped a little after at a gas station to reset. It will still drive but it won't rev over 4k RPMS. And the exhaust is actually louder between those RPMS. Kind of weird.
