Carbotech Brake Pads
I'm going to replace my front and rear pads with Carbotech 1521's. Should I replace the front and rear rotors also? It looks like parts will run around $1,500 through ECS. My car has 18k miles and I will probably only put another 15k miles on it before I sell it. I figured I would replace the rotors also and be done with it for the future.
Any advice would be appreciated. |

At the most just have the front rotors turned to flatten out any uneven wear you've developed. At your mileage they might not even need that, and if you're only anticipating another 15K they should still be within spec for the new owner.

Only thing I don't like about them is that the pads themselves are RED. When I have my calipers painted, I'll have to switch pads because of this.
